A New Blog, A Better Blog
That’s been a go-to phrase for me for the past several months, a reminder in a rather transition-heavy and emotionally-turbulent time in my life to keep my eyes set on the good things to come rather than the worries I usually burden myself with needlessly.
And in the spirit of new things, better things comes along That First Year getting a makeover.
That First Year has been around for a little over a year and a half now, and the coolest part for me has been seeing how this blog has been built entirely by a community of peers, whether that’s a written post, an edited photo, an illustration, marketing ideas, contributing to the e-book, or these dope new graphics (thanks, Aggie!)—all of this has been created by young adults like you and me using their talents to make a pretty li’l Internet space to express the challenges and triumphs of that first year after college and beyond. And as I’ve realized over the past year and a half of my post-grad life, we need people, blogs included.
So, with that in mind, thank you to all who have contributed to That First Year. Here’s to a new blog, a (hopefully) better blog.
